Story Starters

The idea here is to help you get over the hump of writer's block. Sometimes all it takes to get the pen moving is just a little bit of a nudge. In the links at the bottom of the page you will find multiple writing ideas. We have written the first paragraphs of various fictional or hypothetical situations for you to choose from. Once you find a Starter that is interesting to you, copy and paste it into the “Submit My Story” form. Once your written work is completed then click on “Submit” at the bottom of the page. After you click "submit" we'll post your written work on our website for everyone to read.

Don't be afraid to have fun with this. Always remember that fiction has no limits or boundaries, it's your creation! So forget about any fears you may have and put that creative mind of yours to good use with our Starters below.
